1 April: Fools Day

Origins Fools Day, long disputed, have been found exactly, historians believing that the custom farces is a blend of local traditional customs of each country with ancient legends and ceremonies to welcome the New Year and then the spring.

March 8th - International Women’s Day in Romania

The celebration started as a Socialist political event in Russia, in 1965 when Lenin declared it official holiday, and spread across the entire Soviet block soon after. But keep in mind, that unofficially, a women’s day was already celebrated around the world, on different dates, since 1909.
